The Vietnam Business Lawyer Club (VBLC) held the workshop “New provisions of the Civil Code 2015 on loan and security transactions” on 26 May in HCMC. In the workshop, Mr. Duc Tran, VBLC Board Chairman, highlighted numerous new regulations that may have significant impact on loan and security transactions in Vietnam.
Speakers at the workshop includes Duc Tran from Allen & Overy, Quang Truong from YKVN, Net Le from LNT, Thuy Lai from Citibank and Nang Nguyen from ANZ. The workshop received positive feedback with strong demand to hold another session in Hanoi. As a result, a Hanoi session of the workshop “New points of the Civil Code for banking and security transactions” is expected to take place on 23 June 2017.
