The club under the VLC will have around 80 members, 11 of which will be elected to a managing board. The congress will discuss and adopt regulations on operation and organisation, as well as an action plan and tasks of the VBLC.

The club is an open model based on a voluntary principle with features related to lawyers’ responsibilities in providing quality legal services to society, thus the selection of members will be conducted thoroughly.

Together with the members, the club will call on participation of legal experts and businesses to meet requirements of the development and international integration of Vietnamese lawyers, particularly international trade lawyers.

The establishment aims to link lawyers and legal organisations in investment and trade related to foreign factors; boost exchanges and co-operation among legal organisations, lawyers, legal experts, businesses, local and international organisations related to international economic integration; contribute to developing lawyers to serve international integration; and help develop Vietnam’s legal profession to be at par with other countries.
